Irete & Okey – An African American Wedding portfolio we are proud of

Irete and Okey live in Alaska and tried to plan a wedding in the Sacramento Area!

The guest list went up to 350, family and friends flew in from all over the world and a year of planning made it all worth it!

The ceremony took place at St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral in downtown Sacramento. The reception followed at the Elk Grove Event Center. Jarret with Starlite Limousine was exceptional getting the bridal party from A to B. Most of the food was prepared by a family friend, it was impressive to see her cook in the small kitchen and prepare a buffet for all 350 guests! Moses with Granary Catering offered his service staff and beautiful display of fruits and cheeses, as well as some decor accents. Irete’s color choice were purple and yellow. We added a little lavender accents as well as some really beautiful sparkling posts and a 2-tiered head table that gave the room an amazing feel. Gwen with Custom Designed Events added her little touches and the uplights around the room completed it all. All flowers were provided by Tracy with Budding Events. Eileen and her photographer team with Primo Moments made memories to last as well as Aaron with his incredible video team from 4th Wall productions. Last but not least I don’t want to forget the very tasteful cake services by Michele’s Confectionary Designs.
