AN AROUND THE WORLD WEDDING
Sabrina and Nick are dancers, lovers, detail oriented and compliment each other in so many ways. Their wedding was supposed to incorporate all of the things they love. A lot of time for dancing, LOTS of color, many travel decor items as they love traveling together, simple but good food, playful and personal touches throughout. Guests gifted the couple with wind chimes that were set up along the path towards the ceremony. A friend officiated, a friend emceed the wedding, a friend did hair and make up, a friend helped with flowers, a friend brought the cake, the beer, ... all in all, this wedding was produced by loved ones all around the world.
A WINE COUNTRY WEDDING
Kristen and Nick met at a roof top party in San Francisco through a mutual friend and couldn't leave each others' sides that night. They went out again the following week and the rest is history. Nick is an accountant and Kristen works in the fashion industry, they love to cook together, work out, taste wine and enjoy their friends. Their wedding was all about their friends and family. They picked a beautiful venue that didn't need anything extra, so decor items were very limited and only added to personalize their look. Grapevine Catering did an amazing job serving family style dinner. Guests were enjoying themselves, chatting, taking pictures and taking in the wonderful scenery. The entire day just flowed from ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner to dancing. An after party at Zeke's in downtown Healdsburg ended the festivities.
A RUSTIC BARN WEDDING
Sam and Adam decided to put on a fabulous rustic barn wedding. Simple but fun decor ideas were found all around the ranch and all were handmade by the bride and her friends and family. Guests stayed in a nearby hotel and were shuttled in school buses to Stonebarn Ranch in Sheridan. It was another hot day in June in California and the guests were treated to lemonade and water before the ceremony started. The sister of the bride officiated the wedding and made it truly personal. Appetizers and beer and wine awaited the guests during cocktail hour while the bridal party was off for pictures. Escort cards were to be found on a handmade origami crane set up.
This wedding was driven by personal ideas, there was no professional florist, no pastor, no professional caterer, no wedding baker..a Mexican taqueria food service set up the buffet and provided a wonderful Mexican meal, friends helped with flowers, friends baked the desserts, friends delivered beverages for the self-service bar, friends brought props for the vintage photo booth, friends helped with hair and make up and friends even brought the linens. BUT a few professional hands were needed to pull off this DIY wedding. With great music by DJ Aaron at DJ Jeremy Productions, amazing photography by Brett and Emily and design and coordinating assistance by Strings & Champagne Events, this event was successful and nobody would have guessed that there was such simplicity in the planning process.
A WINE BARN DIY WEDDING
Leilani and Chris worked hard for this wedding! Handcrafted items were a huge part of this casual vineyard wedding in a barn at Amador Cellars. Combining wine, a barn and DIY goes really well, as you can see here. Photographer Michael captured the giant jenga, the bench, the seating chart, the table numbers, the bar.. the ceremony back drop… etc!! The crowd enjoyed a BBQ outdoors for dinner and some line dancing inside the barn!

ALL DOLLED UP
Rhonda and Gerry moved to Auburn from the LA area to get away from their previous movie-creating lives. They bought an amazing house with lots of space for their 5 adopted dogs and horses. Strings & Champagne Events had the honor to transform this place for a weekend. Guests were invited to have a welcome cocktail bath the Auburn Ales house. Buses picked them up from the local Staybridge Hotel in Rocklin. Appetizers and dinner were waiting for the guests. While guests were out celebrating, we continued our set up in the backyard. Celebrations Party Rentals was setting up lights, the band Jumpstart was getting their stage ready to go and the catering company All Seasons All Reasons got a head start setting up bars, beverage stations and more. My team added all of the details, some of it we ordered from Forever Vintage Rentals, some items were bought and contributed by Rhonda. Donna with Donna Beck Photography captured it all!

PERFECT DAY MUSIC
Anna and Matt decided to get married at Garden Valley Ranch in the Petaluma area. This place is so gorgeous! Take a look for yourself! Anna and I planned most everything from a distance because she resides in Portland. We still made it happen, thanks to technology. Weddings in Wine country just give you that feeling of comfort and joy, nothing else matters. Guests enjoyed themselves on the dance floor, at the photo booth and just by roaming the beautiful gardens. Garden Valley Ranch is truly a hidden gem!
A FLOWER FARM WEDDING
Amanda and Adam found each other on match.com and live happily ever after! Amanda put so much thought into all of the details and invited her cousin who owns a rental company in the Lodi area to set up a complete covered area on the grass to play bean bag toss. It could have been way hotter on this summer day but we were fortunate to call it the perfect day. Well, it wasn’t quite perfect because Amanda’s father was not able to attend her wedding and walk her down the aisle as he had an emergency and had to stay in the hospital. Friends and family tried to capture everything via FaceTime for him, so he could actually participate in the live wedding feed and see his daughter get married. Take a look at these emotional photos. They tell it all. The Goodness Photo did a great job capturing it all. And the Flower Farm in Loomis was as beautiful as always.

ERICA SERFACE CATERING
At first, I wasn't sure if I wanted to do a wedding on my birthday but then I thought, well, let me meet with the couple and then go from there. Well, let me tell you.. right from the beginning, Cassie, Garo and I got along has if we have been long lost friends, immediate connection! What a great way to spend my birthday, with this fabulous couple! There were a lot of details to coordinate. Cassie was great with spreadsheets, so we mastered this 3 day event plus multiple celebrations in the LA area! Cassie and Garo met at UC Davis, so why not get married there! The reception was at a the Putah Creek Lodge, a wonderful green space and of course, we had to have the UC Davis marching band attend! A buffet around the world was just the right idea for these two, that enjoy traveling and different types of foods.
A LAKE VIEW WEDDING
I had the opportunity to work with this bubbly, full of life kind of girl! A private estate was transformed into a lovely wedding venue with lots of detailed touches. There was plenty of wine and beer and pizza for dinner! S'mores by the beach, geese in the lake, photo booth fun and some delicious cupcakes for dessert! Neighbors offered their beautiful backyard for the ceremony by the lake. The guitar player performed some wonderful ceremony music and the bartenders were busy pouring signature cocktails. Everyone raved about the pizza for dinner and the especially selected wines for dinner were as smooth as can be. Sarah and Greg topped off the night by dancing, laughing, taking pictures and truly enjoying their first day of forever!
