I’m Sandy Stringer, the owner of Strings & Champagne Events. Can you tell where my business name came from? Well, I love champagne and I always pull the strings together to make things happen, there you go!
Thank you so much for stopping by! I love coordinating weddings and events. I had no idea I would end up doing what I do. I would say that my great attention to detail and coordination, as well the ability to work with others helped me to get where I am today.
I’ve been working in the event industry for a while now. I grew up in the Midwest and in Germany and started my career in the travel and hospitality industry. I organized meetings, trade shows, social gatherings, political events, etc. When I moved back to the US, I moved to San Francisco and slowly but surely moved my way into starting my own business for wedding and event planning. When I’m not planning events, I’m out and about. Last year I picked up a new love for yoga and hot pilates. I get together with some girls to continue our weekly crossfit workouts at the park, I walk to clear my head, I snowboard, I enjoy wine tasting, shopping and I love interior design! My 2 sons keep me very busy with all of their love for soccer, friends and other sports. We try to take some time out and enjoy a smoothie at Jamba Juice to catch up on what’s going on in our lives. My hubby keeps me grounded and on the right path to keep our family healthy, educated and happy. We love to travel! So this is me! I can’t wait to get to know you!
My name is Hannah Palmer, I'm currently finishing my last year at Chico State University, majoring in event management. Still being in school couldn’t stop me from beginning to follow my dream of wedding planning. I grew up in the East Roseville/ Granite Bay area and absolutely love it here. Living in Chico has made me miss home and I can’t wait to move back. I stumbled across the event management major thanks to a few sorority sister’s advice to check it out. I enrolled in a couple of classes and was immediately hooked. There is something so special and unique about the event industry and I am looking forward to the future. Working with Strings and Champagne Events has brightened my passion even more. I couldn't see myself graduating and becoming anything other than a wedding planner. In the meantime, I spend most of my days in workout classes, online shopping, and spending quality time with my lovely friends. On the weekends, I like to hike with my boyfriend and his gorgeous golden retriever in Upper Bidwell park. I also love to spend the afternoon window shopping downtown with my friends, and get our foodie fix at a local place. Thanks for looking at a glimpse of my life, I can’t wait to meet you!
Natalie is the Assistant Wedding & Event Planner with Strings & Champagne Events. As a former professional ballet dancer, she brings the same attention to detail to events ensuring nothing is overlooked. She received her Bachelor's Degree at the University of Nevada, Reno in Public Relations and looks forward to continuing her passion for planning & eye for design here in Northern California.
When she's not working an event, you might find her in a yoga class, traveling, listening to live music, or hiking with her dog, Frank. Her bright & bubbly personality will help put your worries at ease & give you the "peace of mind" you're looking for to help your vision become a reality, all while keeping up with the latest & greatest trends.
Strings & Champagne Events is excited to have Natalie on board. She already mastered managing events in the extreme weather conditions, decorating travel themed weddings, coordinated lush ballroom weddings and has been invaluable in following up with vendors and clients to make sure we are ready for your big day!
Abby is the the Assistant Wedding & Event Planner with Strings & Champagne Events. Abby first discovered her passion for the wedding and event industry in her hometown in Dallas, Texas. She gained a lot of event coordinating expertise at a local country club on the water. From decorating lavish banquet rooms to connecting with vendors and ensuring her clients were happy, she did it all! She continues to grow and strengthen her wedding planning knowledge at Strings & Champagne Events’ outdoor celebrations while always having a friendly smile on her face and engaging with guests.
Abby came out to California to be closer to her family and to strive in executing events in a new area! She loves being outdoors and exploring new places with her friends and family. She loves meeting new people and making clients feel comfortable knowing that she will take care of everything and make their wedding a stress free day! She can’t wait to share her love and passion for events while planning your wedding and make your dreams come true!
